Rules & Regulations

HRS Rules and Regulations are the cornerstone of the Society on which the construction, maintenance and certification of variety of structures and installations are based on. Since 1994 the Society has made its Rules and Regulations in line with the IMO Resolutions and IACS Unified Requirements.

The Society has signed official agreements with major international Classification Societies for mutual representation and exchange of technology. However, the Rules are continuously amended through Research Projects in order to incorporate the newest technological achievements and to be in alignment with the latest International requirements.

Currently, the following set of Rules and Regulations are used:

Rules and Regulations for the Classification and Construction of Steel Ships
Rules and Regulations for the Classification and Construction of SmallCraft
